Women's Court

I am constantly on the hunt for sustainable clothing that holds up over time and especially love companies that strive to be closed loop. I had my eyes on Thousand Fell for a few years and when the time came to replace my "every day" sneakers, I ordered a pair of these. I'm a big city urbanite and I walk A LOT. Comfortable sneakers that are sustainable and "go with everything" are important to me. Here are my thoughts:

Out of the Box: I loved the unboxing experience, super cool. I ordered the "White" which arrived not as a pure white sneaker as the naming and photos eluded to, but rather a sneaker that was white with tan branded accents. Disappointing, I had expected an all white sneaker and as someone who doesn't like branding -- I further didn't like the accented color making the branded aspects stick out further. The tan color is a nice color though, its very neutral, not yellow-y or too gray. This shoe has branding in 3 places, which is kind of a lot to me; on the tongue, on the sides and on the heel.

First Wear: Other reviews mentioned they take a while to break in -- this has been VERY true in my experience. I've had them for about a month and a half and they still are not comfortable for me. The tongue on the shoe is very long and, as others mentioned, it rubs on the front of your ankle and rubs the area raw. This is still going on. I wish the opening to the shoe was bigger and the tongue was shorter to alleviate this. The width of the shoe is also quite tight, with a seam that is particularly bothersome right on the bone below the toes. I don't wear wide shoes -- but perhaps the mens version would alleviate this if they are cut differently. Finally, the inside back heel of the shoe doesn't have any padding, and theres a raw seam of the vegan leather that runs across the top inside of the heel. This created horrible horrible blisters on just one very short wear. I am optimistic that the shoe, once comfortable, will last a very long time due to its unwillingness to break-in. lol fingers crossed. I ordered a 7.5, and the length fits perfectly -- so its true to size in that regard. The bed of the shoe is comfortable, so if the width loosens up, they have the potential to be comfortable every day shoes!

I really hope Thousand Fell can work out some of these kinks -- I'd love to continue ordering from them!

This is my 4th pair of Thousand Fell Court sneakers and I've loved each pair. They break in easily, are very comfortable and sturdy, and are way higher quality than any other vegan sneaker I've owned.

Obsessed with these!!! I wear them for everything. Will definitely re purchase.

Love your shoes . Sent one back for was off. Sent back to me . Asked for another wrong color se t . No response from you kept the black . Finally resent back the wrong fit and hope it makes it to you

This was a gift for our daughter. They did not fit and when she returned them she had to pay for the return. We are still waiting for our refund! It’s been over 10 days since she returned them!
