My partner and I have been getting TF sneakers for the past few years and each pair wears out more quickly than the last one. They are harder to clean than our first pair-- the box leaves a blue smudge on the toes of larger sizes and it's a big pain to get it off. No longer able to clean it with just dish soap and water. The worst part is the new insoles-- the previous green ones were fine, but these compressed mixed material ones trap SO MUCH HEAT, it's horribly uncomfortable to wear them in warm weather. Still like that they can be recycled, but is it really more eco-friendly if I have to replace them in less than a year?
I love these shoes. The color is very versatile, and the shoes are comfortable. The only negative thing I would say is the same thing I would say about other Thousand Fell shoes: their insoles are not the best. They do not stay in place. At the end of the day, it's hard to take your feet out of the shoes without the insoles coming out with your feet. And my feet aren't particularly sweaty (I wear socks). It's an easy fix with an aftermarket insole, though.
Recommend wearing wool socks as these shoes trap heat, but I absolutely love them. hyper comfortable and easy to clean every day with just a paper towel. They can be a bit squeaky at the beginning, but I've never had as cushiony flat shoes.
Simple, minimalist, yet aesthetically pleasing.
